So Bora, my amigo and former cube-farm neighbo(u)r (as apposed to half of the Leeward isle) recently wrote a blog post in which he mentioned something we discussed at work…
This prompted me to a) read that post and b) read a few more which in turn further prompted me to a) subscribe to Bora’s blog as it’s downright spiffy and b) revisit writing a few words here again from time to time…
Indeed… the historical record seems to suggest I take a 3-6 month hiatus from posting here every now and then .. and I think the most recent one may be over… or maybe not – time will tell I suppose… there’s something that I find immensely… I dunno… “aligning” is probably the best word… about dumping my thoughts here regularly that isn’t satisfied by yer facebooks and yer Twitters, the two things that have supplanted this place as a repository for my thoughts…

‘S been a while since I’ve written anything here… and I miss doing so…
So I think I’ll endeavo(u)r to do so on a daily-type basis to get back into the habit… with a daily observation or picture or whatever…
My observation for today is that I really really really like XM radio… we euthanized my semi-beloved aged green Honda and got a new car that came with this new-fangled whiz-bang satellite radio stuff… and I dig it… I especially like that fact that our free trial period is over and the powers that be haven’t twigged on that they should be charging us… I guess the only thing better than satellite radio is satellite radio on the house…

Well… It seems like the transition from the old site to here (once again with amigo Steve’s help) is progressing. There seem to be transferred posts – this is good. Still need to point the bushrodchronicles.com domain here. And deal with some image issues. And start a band and be a rock star… wait… that’s different. So it seems we’re close to residing comfortably in out new WordPress-type home… this is good.
Just for the sake of argument – here’s a picture of a kitty.

i’m an inquisitive chap… quite interested in the world in general and history and how things work and whatnot… i linked to this site a couple days ago and ended up spending an hour reading about all sorts of neat stuff… and now i’m subscribed to their feed…
