a couple days ago i posted about an interesting new development in the world of beer delivery systems…
well how cool is this???… when i came home from the work last night i was exceptionally delighted to find that love-of-my-life karen had taken action based on my prior ramblings and procured one of these whiz-bang neato keggies for our very own beer consumption experiments… which i think shall commence this evening…
notice the particularly canadian milk bag keeping said keggie company…

this would be a fine weekend to be sitting on yer couch taking in some college football… pity i’m a) in a different country on the other side of the continent… and b) not simultaneously loaded-ass rich and devoid of responsibility… else i reckon we’d be there sans kiddos and ready to whoop it up…
osu,asu, and penn state all in the top 25… two of them undefeated… and a primetime osu – penn state matchup…
and you’re right dw… could be headed for a ’96-ish rematch…

a) today was pretty darn fine… a beautiful day in toronto today… lotsa playing in the park…
b) the boo had her second skating lesson and did great… it’s hard to believe how fast she’s picking stuff up and i think that’s pretty awesome…
c) eat it haters… the buckeyes are number one and i’d put forth that they deserve to be as much as anyone… know why???… because they haven’t lost when they should’ve won… unlike, oh, i dunno, virtually everyone else who’s been at the top so far this year… was yesterday’s game a rolling over an unranked opponent???… err… i guess not… but apart from two utterly boner defensive turnovers-for-scores the final score woulda looked different… the stats certainly point to the fact that it was somewhat one-sided… trust me – as an alumnus and longtime fan i pretty much expect ‘em to hose things at some point before we start even thinking about a national championship… but jeez folks… at least they’ve shown up and won when they were supposed to…
d) continuing the sports theme for a second… go tribe… uh… and don’t choke…
e) and this was cool today…
baths done… kids fed… eating ice cream and watching franklin… and love-of-my-life k has just walked through the door… fun was had in scrapbook land…
and gosh darn it how lovely is this???… my darlin’ has brought home with her some of those delectable sugar free sobe a-rush drinkies (blue can)… which will now enable me to make some of those even more delectable k-pow drinks…
the k-pow… big glass… ice… poopload of absolut mandarin… 1 (one) can of the afforementioned sugar free sobe a-rush (blue can)… simple… lethal… delicious…
heaven in a tumbler… and i’m thinking somewhat deserved at this point…

so after much negotiation… there were some minor naps… nhl ’08 was played… the beloved ohio state buckeyes rolled in the first half… kiddos got up… we made this spectacular welcome home sign for mum… err… that was all i had for the afternoon… we watched the less than awesome buckeyes second half… now we’re off for baths pre-dinner so we’re gonna be all clean, fed, and happy when mum gets home… whee doggies…
