so far anyway…
we have arrived home from the chuck e. cheese adventure… the kids had fun and i remembered why i like to stay a minimum of 500 yards away from those joints…
as k was getting ready to depart this morning she said “hey… read your post… you’re kidding, right???”… uh… about what dear???… at which point she explained to me that my brilliant idea that it might be a “slow” time at noon on saturday was perhaps a bit flawed… she figured that this was probably the most busy time of the whole week with all sorts of birthday parties and overall mayhem going down…
she was right… talk about some serious sensory overload… i was quite happy to cash in our boatloads of tickets for some cheap useless crap neat and inexpensively made toys for the kiddos and get the heck outta there…
i shall now attempt to get those kiddos to have a nap… at which point i’ll devise a master plan of rainy-day indoor-based adventures for the afternooon… and perhaps continue the leafs season in xbox360 nhl ’08…
