so one thing that’s become obvious during our return to the motherland is that i am pretty friggin’ in the dark as far as much of the canadian political process goes…
i split after the seventh grade and, while no political scholar, my time in the states has made me pretty comfortable with how the system works down yonder… in canada – not so much… before, during, and after the elections of a week ago i was hearing all sorts of interesting stuff that made little or no sense… throne speech???… confidence vote???… call for elections???… how odd…
so now, feeling pretty silly for not knowing any more at this stage in life… i shall embark on an adventure in canadian civics … luckily i a) find “the politics” interesting… and b) like learning about things… methinks it will all make a little more sense soon…
