so we have a new game… i call it dookie / no dookie and we played it for the first time over the weekend… it goes like this…
1) the idea is hatched that the kiddos need a bath…
2) dad (me) heads upstairs to start the rather lengthy bathtime process by drawing the bath…
3) dad (me) puts, in retrospect, way too much bubble bath stuff into the tub… causing the final bath makeup to be about 80% bubbles and 20% water…
4) kids are introduced into the mix… ostensibly to be cleansed… “whoa dad… sure are lotsa bubbles in there” is heard…
5) kids can’t find all the bath toys in the tub because there’s way too many bubbles…
6) everything goes to plan for a few minutes until… and here’s where it gets good…
7) we hear “mommy… daddy… sebby just pooped in the tub”…
kids are removed from tub…
9) dad (me), somewhat icked out, very gingerly removes all toys whilst looking for the alleged poop… running into similar problems as referenced in #5 above…
this weekend… no dookie… yay…
i’d rather not play again any time soon…
