been sick for the last few days… i don’t like being sick… thanks to my darlin’ spouse i’ve been able to take it easy over the weekend and convalesce…
but i reckon i’m on the mend and ready to rock and roll…
from what i remember of the weekend the others in the house had a reasonable time… the afforementioned love-of-my-life karen is on the way to recovery from her assorted ailments from the past week… that i’m glad to see… she and the chilluns went to a bbq at our pals d&d’s on saturday… and yesterday kenzie and mum went to see the wiggles in concert… she dug it…
and just like that its time for another week’s worth of adventures…
i’m jazzed about the ep release party on the 18th… got a pretty stylin’ setlist put together pending review from the boys… i think the night’ll be a good one…
and as i sit here at 4:20 in the morning post-tugboat-late-night-bottle i can think of nothing more of interest to share…

darn fine practice last night gearing up for spank’s ep release party on 5/18… feelin’ like its gonna be a stylin’ good night… and tom had the idea that we could play the cd as a set… so that’ll be the second one… ok… maybe not the same as seeing the complete “dark side of the moon” played live but oughta be pretty cool i think…

its official… the big ol’ cd-ep release party shall go down on wednesday, may 18th at the central club in kirkland…
the central’s a cool place and we’re looking forward to playing there… wanted to for some time now… wednesday is their usual music night and the place is always rockin’ so we’re excited to jump on that bandwagon…

so we’re on the fourth night of letting tugboat “cry it out” to get him into sleeping through the night…
in anticipation of the afforementioned crying it out i’ve been up since midnight…
the actual crying it out started at 2:30… ’bout an hour ago…

had a great day yesterday…
started out a bit uncomfortably due to very little sleep as kenzie and tugboat decided to be up a bunch during the night…
but after the caffeine kicked in i mowed the lawn which looks pretty awesome if i say so myself…
karen took the offspring to the toystore and bought a stand-alone sandbox that looks like a frog and fits perfectly in the sandbox area under the big ol’ playset we’ve got…
we spent lotsa time outside in the sun together popsicle eatin’ and sandbox playin’…
and we topped off the day at our pals the wheelers casa for a barbecue where there was lotsa little folk running around and entertaining the adults…
