Well… It seems like the transition from the old site to here (once again with amigo Steve’s help) is progressing. There seem to be transferred posts - this is good. Still need to point the bushrodchronicles.com domain here. And deal with some image issues. And start a band and be a rock star… wait… that’s different. So it seems we’re close to residing comfortably in out new WordPress-type home… this is good.

I’m compelled to mention the band Cloud Cult. I stumbled upon them through Spinner.com’s Video Podcast and was blown away. Further investigations only added to my blown-away-ness. Supremely great music and an interesting approach to life and the music business. Highly recommended.
So amigo Steve is making some changes in part due to his recent server meltdown issues and as a result I shall no longer be sucking at the teat of his extremely generous blog-hosting-ness. I’ve decided to move over to WordPress as they seem to be fine folks and offer all that I need and a whole lot more. I shall endeavo(u)r to make this little corner of cyberspace look lovely, have it appear as www.bushrodchronicles.com, and bring my old posts over when I can.

so since my last postings back in ‘07 we’ve finished the basement… except for some minor stuff… and close to completion is my long-dreamed-about music room… a little guitar based sanctuary if you will…
so as love-of-my-life karen mentioned yesterday… it snowed… breaking (i think) the all-time record for annual snowfall in the toronto area… i woke up this morning to do a little shoveling… again…
there’s been so much snow that we’re running out of places to put it… had to leave some in the driveway and carve out an extra parking space…
i miss seattle winters… says it’s mostly cloudy today… chance of rain…
